Admin Panel

The admin panel is available to users with the admin role (the first registered user).

User Management

  • Create new user accounts with username, email, password, and role
  • Edit existing users (change username, email, password, role)
  • Delete users (except yourself)
  • View user statistics and online/offline status
  • Last login timestamp shown per user
  • Create invite links for user registration from the Users tab
  • Set maximum uses (1×, 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, or unlimited)
  • Set an expiry date (1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, or never)
  • View usage count and revoke active links at any time
  • Invite links bypass the "disable registration" setting — only invited users can sign up
  • Race-condition safe with atomic usage counting
  • OIDC invite tokens are passed through the SSO flow

Configuration

Place Categories

Manage global place categories:

  • 10 default categories are pre-seeded (Accommodation, Restaurant, Sight, Shopping, Transport, Activity, Bar/Cafe, Beach, Nature, Other)
  • Create custom categories with name, color, and icon
  • Only admins can manage categories

Packing Templates

  • Create reusable packing templates (e.g. "Beach Vacation", "Business Trip", "Camping")
  • Each template contains categories with pre-filled items and sort order
  • Users can apply templates when setting up their trip's packing list
  • Templates are managed globally by admins and available to all users

Settings

API Keys

  • Google Maps — Places API key for place search, auto-fill, ratings, and photos
  • Validate button tests the key against the real API and shows a green checkmark
  • Weather uses Open-Meteo (no key required)

Registration

  • Enable or disable public registration
  • When disabled, only invite links can create new accounts

Single Sign-On (OIDC)

  • Configure OIDC provider directly in the admin panel (Display Name, Issuer URL, Client ID, Client Secret)
  • Environment variables override these settings if set
  • See Single Sign-On for details

SMTP / Email

  • Configure mail server settings (Host, Port, User, Password, From address)
  • Skip TLS certificate verification toggle — for self-signed certificates on local mail servers
  • App URL — base URL used in email notification links
  • Test email button to verify your SMTP configuration
  • See Email Notifications for details

Webhooks

  • Configure a webhook URL for notifications (Discord, Slack, or custom)

Addons

Manage optional features that can be enabled or disabled:
